Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE)

This is the preferred method of sperm extraction when there is no identifiable source of sperm obstruction, yet there is evidence of azoospermia. The latter is referred to the absence of viable sperm in the male ejaculate.

The procedure very similar to PESA, with the main variation being that the sperm will be collected from the testes as opposed to the epididymis, among others:

  • The sperm is collected from the testes.
  • A biopsy will be taken from the testes and will be histologically analyzed by our experts.
